Once the skin is sufficiently numbed, the skin booster solution is administered via a series of precise micro-injections across the treatment area. A soothing moisturiser and SPF is applied to calm and protect the skin following treatment. Some small bumps or mild redness at the injection sites is completely normal and will settle within a few hours. A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible. The injections themselves are very small and most clients find the procedure very well tolerated. Any mild discomfort settles almost immediately.
Results typically last between 6–9 months depending on your skin type, lifestyle and how well you maintain your skin at home. We recommend a top-up treatment every 6 months to maintain your results and keep your skin looking its best.
You may notice an initial improvement in hydration and radiance within a few days of treatment. However the full results develop over 2–4 weeks as the hyaluronic acid fully integrates into the skin – with skin feeling noticeably plumper, smoother and more radiant.
Some small bumps, mild redness or swelling at the injection sites is completely normal and will settle within a few hours to a couple of days. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise, alcohol and direct sun exposure for 24 hours following treatment. Full aftercare advice will be provided at your appointment.
